You may have heard of ‘Christmas in July’ before, but I guarantee you that you have never heard of ‘Thanksgiving in January’ before!
I have some very good friends in Texas who sent me a ‘Christmas’ present/care package just after Thanksgiving, and we were sure that it had gotten lost in the mail. Almost 2 months later, it arrived! Oleg checked the mail at the college yesterday, and told me that I should dance. He didn’t explain why at first, just told me to dance, then he gave the paper I needed to claim the package at the post office.
Nothing says “CHRISTMAS!” like mint M&M’s!!
We noticed this on the door of the post office, so technically the card that came with the M&M’s was contraband. At least we didn’t get fined or anything.
Side note: I’m glad that my parents didn’t send my coat liner in the mail, I probably would have received it sometime in May! It was much quicker (although much more expensive) to just fly home and get it 🙂
From me and from my friends with whom I will share a few of my mint M&Ms, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! 😀
